At Safran, we want to do more than just introduce you to the flavors and delicacies of authentic Persian cuisine. We’d like to take you on a brief cultural journey—through Iran’s millennia-old history and civilization, its art, poetry, literature, and music. Through a selection of images and cultural features, we aim to showcase various facets of Iran, both historical and contemporary.

We’d also like to explore current developments and events with you—topics that are often covered in very different ways by the media.

Immerse yourself in the fascinating history and culture of Iran—at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., and 7 p.m., each session lasting about 30 minutes. Ask your questions! We’ll share stories, answer your questions, and give you a glimpse of our homeland right here in the heart of Chemnitz.
