Create Your Utopia – Zine Workshop for a Better World

How do we want to live together? How do we want to express ourselves? How do we want to relate to nature and our fellow human beings?

Sharing our hopes for a better life together opens up spaces where change can become a reality. That’s why this workshop gives you the chance to talk with others about your vision of a feminist, queer, and sustainable world. In this workshop, you’ll bring your utopias to life in your own zine. At the end, we’ll digitize your zines and make them available for everyone to share. After all, ideas and utopias thrive most of all through exchange.

Zines (short for “magazine”) are self-made and self-published booklets that often feature political content or personal experiences. Zines can take on a wide variety of forms and combine different media, such as photos, drawings, prose, collages, and more. Zine culture encompasses not only the (collaborative) creation of zines, but also their exchange and collection.
