The KOSMOS and Chemnitz exploration corners
Exploration

Through creative methods with a pop-up character, we aim to playfully design the routes from A to B within the festival grounds. We demonstrate how differently space can be perceived.
In doing so, the focus will be on questions and perspectives that critically and emancipatorily examine public space.
The campaign is supervised by Bordsteinlobby e.V. The association recently published the project "ChemNetz – the City Map of the Self-Made City Map". ChemNetz reveals what we consider to be the true attraction of the city: the places and projects from sub- and socio-culture.
The map highlights locations that invite participation, exchange & sharing, and seeing & experiencing. ChemNetz is an impulse for (re)discovering one's own neighborhood and exploring new city districts. The map is available for free at our festival.
