Don’t Panic! – Why the End of the World Is Just Another Process of Change
Workshops oder Mitmachformate - Demokratie und gesellschaftlicher Zusammenhalt
We live in a state of constant crisis. Social upheavals, technological leaps, and the daily chaos of change—much of this triggers a sense of powerlessness, and sometimes even shock-induced paralysis. The question for this session: How can we navigate such times successfully, and how can we help shape them?
In this interactive, 120-minute workshop, we’ll move beyond the purely rational and tap into the power of imagination. The session is based on the book "Don’t Panic—Your Guide Through the Chaos of Change" by Jörg Leupold, a systemic coach and hypno-coach (Vahlen Verlag, Summer 2026). His idea: A crisis unfolds in stages—those who understand these stages can overcome them.
Here’s how it works: After a brief introduction, Jörg Leupold will guide you on an imaginative journey. With your eyes closed and while seated, you’ll reflect on your current challenge and tap into your own inner resources beyond the stresses of everyday life: resilience, composure, and intuition. Afterward, you’ll record your experience in a journal. The Hero’s Journey—the model from the book—serves as a roadmap: It shows that difficult phases follow a pattern that can be managed, and it reveals which strengths and which people will carry you through this phase.
In the end, you’ll take away your own motto—a sentence that will serve as a guide for you in the coming weeks. When you actively steer your own story, you also change the way you view the world around you.
