Drag Show: Glitter, Protest, and Empowerment

Our drag show is more than just entertainment—it’s a form of expression, protest, and diversity in action. As a drag and DJ collective (Dust Dolls Collective), we bring diverse artists to the stage who use lip-syncing, performance, dance, and character work to tell stories, challenge norms, and shed light on queer realities.

Blending glamour, drama, and empowerment, we create a show that moves, inspires, and simultaneously opens up political spaces. We view drag as an art form that playfully deconstructs gender, identity, and societal expectations.

The audience can expect a diverse mix of emotional, empowering, and humorous performances. Our goal is to create a space where people feel seen, can celebrate together, and experience new perspectives.

Especially in the context of Chemnitz, it’s important to us to make queer culture visible and to actively help shape safe, inclusive spaces.
