ELMAR

Active since 2016, ELMAR from Meißen released a promising demo titled "Bunker und Funktürme" and now present their debut album "Betriebstemperatur, halten" on Twisted Chords. The members are no strangers, including former members of Mikrokosmos23 and Abenteuer Auftauen. The direction is thus roughly set: smart, profound German-language punk rock between post-punk, emo, and indie. Lyrical worlds ranging from everyday observations, melancholy, anger, and hope, with a joy for metaphor. Ultimately, a well-proven yet still fresh and innovative sounding sound that quickly sticks in the mind. Since their inception, the band has played more than 50 concerts in Germany and Switzerland. Punk Aus Porzellan, alluding to their own origin: fragile, to be handled with care, but quite high-quality.
