Freedom of the Press and What It Means for Journalists in Exile

Journalism exposes abuses and critiques the economy and politics. Yet around the world, media professionals are being threatened, persecuted, and arrested. Journalists from Pakistan, Turkey, Ukraine, and Iran are reporting on these issues live from the field. In our workshop, you can actively participate and learn everything there is to know about press freedom. You’ll also have the opportunity to engage in a live discussion with the journalists.
