What does a festival night look like when young people decide for themselves what goes on stage?

GROUND CONTROL is the KOSMOS Festival’s youth-led night program—developed as part of the ORBIT participatory project. Together, young people from Chemnitz and the surrounding region have curated a program that combines music, club culture, art, and social issues, showcasing what matters to their generation.
At Weltecho, a night full of live acts, DJ sets, performances, discussions, and surprises awaits you. Between the dance floor and the discussions, spaces emerge for celebrating, exchanging ideas, and trying new things.
GROUND CONTROL sees nightlife as more than just a party. Here, ideas are shared, perspectives are brought to light, and new connections are made. The program isn’t created behind closed doors, but rather emerges from the interests, experiences, and visions of young people themselves.
