Joca x Oberschule am Hartmannplatz

How do initial rhyming ideas turn into your own rap song—and how does that song eventually make it onto a major festival stage? That’s exactly what the presentation of the joint rap workshop with Dresden-based rapper Joca and students from Oberschule am Hartmannplatz showcases.

In the workshop, the students gained insights into the world of songwriting, rap, and performance. Together with Joca, they developed their own lyrics, experimented with rhymes and language, and brought their ideas to life musically. The goal wasn’t just to write their own song, but also to find their own voice, build self-confidence, and try their hand at performing on stage.
