Safe Spaces Against Right-Wing Violence
Workshops oder Mitmachformate - Demokratie und gesellschaftlicher Zusammenhalt
The “Safe Places” initiative is an alliance of youth clubs, housing projects, subcultural spaces, and social policy organizations in southern Brandenburg. The dominance of far-right groups in the region has led to the formation of a network of solidarity that collectively defends against right-wing attacks—through public visibility, practical support, and a clear stance.
Representatives of the initiative will discuss their work and explain how they organize public awareness, solidarity, protection, and funding for places threatened by right-wing violence. The workshop will be highly practical and aimed at equipping local activists with the tools they need to build and strengthen solidarity alliances.
