Association '2takterzgebirge e.V.': Preservation of vehicular cultural heritage and promotion of community spirit
The association “2takterzgebirge e.V.” is dedicated to representing and preserving vehicular cultural heritage, with a special focus on the history and culture of two-stroke engines. Through its committed community of enthusiasts, the association makes a strong statement for social cohesion and mutual assistance.
The aim of the association is to provide guests with an authentic insight into the everyday life of young people in the GDR and to revive the sense of community that was prevalent at the time in today's world. "Working together on projects, overcoming failures, and experiencing successes – always within the framework of democratic decisions – are essential elements of our club life," said a spokesperson for the association.
In addition to maintaining historic vehicles, the association also addresses modern technological developments, such as electromobility. Thus, the vision of emission-free mobility becomes tangible and experiential.
