TOGETHER WE BALL 2026 – Community Basketball

TOGETHER WE BALL 2026 is conceived as an open streetball revival of the urban basketball format for KOSMOS Chemnitz. The focus is on a low-barrier 3x3 community format that is intentionally designed not only as a sporting competition but also as an open space for interaction in public areas. Basketball serves as a unifying element to bring people together and enable participation in various ways.
The format aims to combine gameplay, atmosphere, and active participation. This creates an event that focuses not only on performance but also on community, presence, and active involvement.
The project is conceived through a local collaboration between the basketball scene, community perspectives, and ideas from participatory project development. The goal is to create a visible, urban meeting place within the KOSMOS context that brings together sports, pop culture, social interaction, and participation in a lively and accessible way.
