Community Rockers

Inspired by the elemental power that reggae and dub unleash through specially built speaker towers, the Community Rockers Soundsystem was born.

Chemnitz’s first dub soundsystem was designed and built from scratch out of a love for 1970s and ’80s roots reggae and through life-changing experiences in London’s soundsystem scene.

The music at a Community Rockers dance ranges from revolutionary Jamaican sound experiments to heavy UK steppers productions and progressive bass music. Powerful, physically palpable sub-basslines, swirling echoes, and effect sounds turn every session into an experience that transports the audience into a trance-like state.
