Andreas Kruse

I come from the IT industry and worked for many years as a technician, consultant, and instructor. When it comes to networks, I know the bits almost by name and understand all the elements that must work together to ensure successful connections, communication, and data exchange.

At some point, I began to apply this knowledge to human interaction. Our society, too, needs strong connections, open channels of communication, and a willingness not to accept disruptions but to seek solutions.

Together with a dedicated team and supported by experts, this led to an initiative that I’d like to present to our city as a gift. My vision is a city where kindness is visible, people support one another, and social cohesion can flourish anew. Chemnitz can thus become a role model—for a city that not only functions but also connects and shines.
