Daniel Kubiak

Daniel Kubiak, born in 1982, is a social scientist at the Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research at Humboldt University in Berlin. Kubiak was born and raised in Berlin and has been living in rural Brandenburg for seven years. As a social scientist, he conducts research on post-reunification identity, East German migration society, and the politics of memory. He is also the co-host of the podcasts “Berlin.Ost.Migrantisch” and “Musi*Sociology.”
