Since our founding, we have supported over 15,000 German-Czech projects and distributed financial resources amounting to 83.6 million EUR to them. It is important to us that Germans and Czechs meet, get to know each other, and above all, feel inspired to create a neighborhood where they feel comfortable.

However, we not only support the projects of others but also become active ourselves: We want to bring the significance of German-Czech cooperation closer to the public in both countries, showcase its impressive results, and inspire more people to become part of this vibrant German-Czech neighborhood.

We are aware that the relations between our peoples have not always been harmonious. In the early years of our existence, we were intensely involved in compensating Czech victims of National Socialism as well as Nazi forced laborers. We know all too well that every relationship that matters must be nurtured: And a good neighborhood in a united Europe is certainly worth this effort.
