kassisound

KassiSound are a DJ duo from Chemnitz who have been performing together behind the decks since 2024. What began as a shared passion for electronic music has developed into an integral part of the local underground scene. They taught themselves most of what they know about DJing and started organising their own events at an early stage.

Musically, KassiSound started out with drum & bass and jungle. These influences can still be heard in their sets today, even though their focus now lies on driving sounds such as tribe, trance and other forms of underground techno.

As well as their performances, KassiSound are actively involved in the local scene. As part of the Koko collective, they organise their own events and aim in particular to give young people access to electronic music culture. Their goal is to create spaces where people can dance and party together, independent of traditional club culture.

Following gigs at Transit and the Spinnerei, the Kosmos Festival marks the duo’s first festival appearance. The focus there is on energy, community and authentic underground culture.
