Max Friedemann
Research assistant, Department of Raw Materials Mining and Special Underground Processes, TUBAF
Max Friedemann completed his master’s degree in mechanical engineering at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg in 2021 and has since been working as a research assistant in the Department of Raw Materials Mining and Special Underground Processes. Since 2021, he has been focusing on digitalization and automation in mining, initially working on the development of a decentralized communication and data acquisition system. From 2023 to 2026, he worked on the EU-funded Mine.io project, where he served as project manager and developer for the digitization of a drilling rig. His work includes, among other things, the collection and analysis of measurement data as well as the application of artificial intelligence methods in research.
