Stephanie Brittnacher

Stephanie Brittnacher is an illustrator based in Chemnitz. She illustrates stories about people, their contradictions, and the social conditions in which they live—in comics, books, and exhibitions. In 2025, she initiated and led the comic project “Raus aus Chemnitz?” (“Out of Chemnitz?”), which collects stories from women who have left the city since German reunification.
