Tabea Sandmann

Tabea works as a performer and choreographer in the independent arts scene. She is originally from Dresden but currently works mainly in Portugal. As part of the collective janne&tabea, she develops various artistic projects together with Janne Schröder. They are currently working on their new production, “Melt In Sight.” They also co-lead workshops on the theme of “Radical Tenderness,” in which tenderness is made practical and, through shared exchange, can become a new form of resistance.

After earning a B.A. in Performing Arts from the University of Hildesheim, she participated in the Oficina Zero Dance Intensive Program in Porto, Portugal, in 2022–23. Since then, she has been developing her own works and collaborating as a performer and choreographer with various institutions and artists.
