Total View

The multi-award-winning media art and research group “Total View” was founded in 2024 as an interdisciplinary platform for exchange between artists and researchers, with the aim of developing new digital methods and practices for investigating oppression and forced cultural assimilation by state actors. Total View collaborates with institutions such as the University of Vienna and the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

The group’s first project, “Sensing Sinicization,” was exhibited internationally in countries such as Germany, Austria, and Hungary and was awarded the Digital Literacy Prize by the Vienna Business Agency as well as the South by Southwest Special Prize. In addition to exhibitions, the group has organized numerous events and held workshops, panel discussions, artist talks, and lectures.
