The Allen-Forrester Band is a collaborative project of the two New York guitarists Ben Forrester and Josh Allen. Influenced by the pioneers of Southern Rock such as the Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Crowes, and Blackberry Smoke, the duo gives the classic twin-guitar sound a fresh coat of paint and combines their influences into a compelling mix of crisp blues rock and melodic Southern Rock.
The live shows of the Allen-Forrester Band are not only enlivened by the band's classic American retro sound and Josh Allen's raw blues voice but also by the band's joy of playing and improvisational skills, which are complemented by the German rhythm section (Hendrik Herder on bass and Matthias Böhm on drums) contributing their part.
With their brand-new studio album in tow, the band came on a European tour for the fourth time in May 2023 – a must for all fans of American blues and rock!
