EWA

Rumor has it that the elephant lady EWA is the reincarnation of the elephant that was stranded in the former Centraltheater at the end of the war, belonging to the Busch Circus. Instead of pulling vegetable carts and car parts through the city like back then, EWA now enjoys being chauffeured around. Her favorite way to travel is by trailer through the city. Under EWA's thick epoxy resin skin, there's a tremendous turmoil, so much so that the title 'Elephant in the room' seems tailor-made for her and her thoughts, whether repressed and avoided or openly expelled. Her memory is a geographical cornucopia, and her expression never falters. Her greatest mystery is her gleaming golden left tusk, before which many a Höcke has had to crouch. EWA has a lot to tell... this time at KOSMOS, she will share her stories from her travels to Chemnitz and Weimar memorials.
