Whether on TikTok, Insta, or Twitch – social media is the place where young voices get loud. But what remains after going viral? Is this already democracy – or just performance with a filter?
At #Fitcheck we speak plainly: About algorithms that push extreme content. It's about viral activism, hate, hope, and the question: Can social media also be democracy?
With host Victoria Reichelt and her guests, the discussion revolves around how much real participation is possible on social media – and what needs to happen to prevent the net from becoming an echo chamber, but instead a democratic space. 45 minutes of deep dive between shitstorm and solidarity – come through!

Luise-Emilie Tschersich:
Luise Emilie Tschersich, also known as Mile, grew up in Chemnitz and started her career as an actress there. Today, she is one of the most well-known faces of her generation, far beyond her hometown.
Currently, she can be seen in the leading role as Anastasia Sadowski in the successful ZDF series 'Blutige Anfänger'. She has been nominated twice for the Grimme Award for her acting performance and received the award for best newcomer actress at the Immenhof Film Awards in 2024.
In parallel, she is a rising star in the gaming and eSports scene: As a League of Legends caster, she comments in the first league – including for the Prime League and the Equal eSports Cup by Telekom. A joint broadcast with Tolkin, one of the most famous German LOL creators, counts among her recent highlights, alongside international streams.
