Women of Change
Live Podcast

What does it mean to navigate as a woman* and entrepreneur in Saxony? With this central question, the photographer and art director Victoria Kämpfe returns to her hometown as part of the KOSMOS Chemnitz cultural festival.
At the heart of it is the podcast format "Women* of Change", which features portraits of Saxon women* who have taken on leadership responsibilities in traditionally craft-based businesses. A live recording with an open discussion format creates a space for dialogue and participation: the audience is invited to ask questions and actively participate in the discussion.
Among the guests of the podcast is Maria Seifert, founder of a sustainable fashion label from Eibenstock, who will discuss personal life paths, entrepreneurial responsibility, and female self-identification in the context of East Germany's transformation history. In a region that was known for its textile production, Seifert produces for her own collections and also supplies other labels.
The event is part of the long-term photographic project "Women* of Change", which will culminate in a photo exhibition in 2025. The focus is always on the exploration of women*'s self-image.
Since 2018, Victoria Kämpfe has been intensively dedicated to portrait photography – as a means to engage with femininity and self-image. Her photographic practice began with the conscious staging of female bodies beyond traditional visual patterns and evolved into a space for reflection on her own feminine perspective behind the camera.
