Culture work in war times – A look at Ukraine

The Atlas Festival in Ukraine is an excellent example of the relevance of cultural work in times of war and shows in a best-case scenario how to deal with the challenges of war and what role culture plays for a society that is confronted with cruel setbacks on a daily basis. At the same time, a discussion with the organiser Vlad offers a first-hand insight into everyday life in Ukraine (and the privileged perspective from which we in Germany think about this war).
