The parliament dreams

Could a picture revive the much-invoked 'Dream of Europe'? One that shows the representatives of Europe's people along with the Council and Commission dreaming shoulder to shoulder? The expansive photo montage of snapshot portraits reconstructs an EU session in Strasbourg. All 818 participants have their eyes closed and are looking inward. After all, a plenary that has to decide on the framework for this 'Dream of Europe' must dream from time to time as part of its duty! The fact that a dreaming parliament can also appear naive or populist at first glance is a thought-provoking calculation.
