Ana Troncoso

Ana Troncoso is a researcher and lecturer at the Chair of Cultural and Social Change in the Institute for European Studies and History at Chemnitz University of Technology. After earning her diploma in journalism and social communication and a master’s degree in cultural anthropology/European ethnology, she completed her dissertation on German Jews in Chile. Her research focuses on postcolonial theories and racism studies, critical migration studies, and the interconnections in Latin American and European history of the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. She has already initiated several international projects in cooperation with universities in Portugal and Spain.
