Hamze Bytyci

Hamze Bytyçi is an artist, curator, and cultural worker.

Since 2012, he has served as chairman of RomaTrial e.V., an organization he founded.

In 2017, he launched the “AKE DIKHEA? International Roma Film Festival,” which has been held annually in Berlin under his direction ever since. In 2018 and 2020–2021, he served as co-curator of the 1st and 2nd Roma Biennales. From September 2022 through the end of 2025, he will serve as artistic director, shaping the program at the Grüner Salon of the Volksbühne on Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. He is a member of “CPPD – The Coalition for Pluralistic Public Discourse.”
