Juliana Corvino

I have been active in political education in eastern Germany for several years and focus primarily on issues of social inequality, democratic participation, and social change. In the past, I worked for the Umbrella Association of Saxon Migrant Organizations (Dachverband sächsischer Migrant*innenorganisationen e.V.), where I supported and trained migrant community leaders in association and political education work. Today, I work in political education and networking in Thuringia and Saxony, and, together with K.osmos, I facilitate and support groups and organizations through processes of change. I am particularly interested in how people and organizations can remain capable of taking action even under difficult conditions and create spaces for participation. My work is informed by a critical perspective on power as well as the conviction that change arises where different perspectives engage in dialogue with one another.
