The “Baseball Bat Years” 2.0? — Diverse Forms of Activism in Times of the Right-Wing Counterrevolution

Migrant self-help organizations in eastern Germany often operate under challenging conditions: scarce resources, unstable funding structures, political attacks, and unreliable support. The KOSMOS Kollektiv emerged following the dissolution of the umbrella organization for Saxon migrant organizations and continues its work today as a social startup in order to self-finance its operations in the long term and become less dependent on grant funding.
