Julius Hackspiel

Julius Hackspiel (he/him) is an independent curator and creative producer. He completed a multidisciplinary film degree at BHT Berlin and has been a member of the Filmrauschpalast cinema collective for several years. He gained professional experience at the XR production company NowHere Media and on the programming team for the digital conference re:publica. As the initiator and co-curator of the Gamerausch event series, he combines video game culture with cinema; with this format, he is currently part of Futura Cinema’s Incubation Program. He serves as a consultant for Doxumentale 2026 in the areas of interactive media and narrative forms.
