Deine Freunde

Music for children

All three members of Deine Freunde are standing side by side in front of a beige-orange wall, looking amiably into the camera.

For 12 years, DEINE FREUNDE have been bringing heavy bass into family life. After eight studio albums and countless sold-out tours, it's now time for something completely new – their own audio drama series! In "Close the door, it's drafty!" Flo, Lukas, and Pauli recount their own band history and experience exciting adventures in crazy worlds! Along the way, they shed light on the most everyday family life conflicts with a lot of humor.

Welcome to Hausenheim– a small town that could be anywhere in Germany. Lukas, Pauli, and Flo dream of great musical success. In search of a rehearsal space and a shared flat, they come across an abandoned school building that is rumored to be haunted. There, they find a mysterious attic door that keeps popping open, causing a draft throughout the house. Behind it await the craziest adventures: DEINE FREUNDE travel through the door to distant kingdoms, remote planets, and embark on the most incredible missions. These simultaneously reflect the real conflicts of a neighboring family...

Because right next door – quite coincidentally - lives the blended family "WTF": Watt-Thießen-Fidan. Consisting of psychologist Heike, reporter Almuth, and the children Henning (8) and Romy (13). The latter, with her own podcast, the "Hausenheim Hood News," keeps the whole town up to date with news. As it happens, DEINE FREUNDE and the neighbor's kids quickly become an unbeatable team. And while Flo, Lukas, and Pauli are repeatedly entangled in the most absurd adventures behind the attic door, the "WTFs" master very similar challenges in their no less crazy family routine.

"Close the door, it's drafty!" tackles the big issues of family life in entertaining audio drama episodes. DEINE FREUNDE create their own audio drama world, which is meant to make children and parents smile, reflect, and laugh together – and to show them time and again that they are not alone with their conflicts.
