What a highlight: on Friday afternoon we celebrate the official opening of the new basketball courts at Konkordiapark. And after, we can thoroughly enjoy playing on the new courts ourselves. So, bring your friends, family, neighbors and let's all try it out together!

Of course, I'm interested in more than just basketball – once an athlete, always an athlete! At the Athletic Sonnenberg Olympics, I can try out other sports. And even if it's not quite enough for the big competitions: I'll definitely win a prize at the Athletic Olympics!

The panel on 'Clubs shape the cityscape' this Saturday at the beer garden of Miramar is the perfect break for me as a club member and Niners fan amidst the hustle and bustle of KOSMOS. The discussion will revolve around the relevance and role of sports clubs in a city and how they shape identification with the city, its image, as well as local initiatives. Moreover, the Niners will offer insights into potential future perspectives for further integrating Chemnitz and sports. Exciting!

Never ever will I miss the finale of the Keep on rolling – Wheelchair Basketball Tournament! In typical Chemnitz fashion, there's electrifying basketball and the most euphoric atmosphere on the sidelines. We're going to make the hall – uh, I mean the Konkordiapark – shake!

Ready, set, go: we're kicking off KOSMOS Saturday with a bang! Andrew Unruh from the band Einstürzende Neubauten invites us to a large drum installation on Brückenstraße, I'll definitely grab my drumsticks and join in!
