THE NEW ASUKA and kickpunchpow are a power duo from Jena, aiming to send a message to the youth: "Don't let anyone talk you out of your dreams and boldly go your own way!" They live by their own stories as an example. THE NEW ASUKA is the first "D-Pop Idol" and excites over 100,000 fans on social media with an innovative mix of K-Pop and German pop. Influenced by his Vietnamese roots and inspired by boy bands like BTS and Stray Kids, he injects the German music scene with a powerful dose of Asian influences. With his debut single "LOVEdrunk", he won the Thuringia Grammy in 2024 and performed on The Voice of Germany that same year.
Meeting the German rap newcomer kickpunchpow was a fateful encounter: From their first meeting at a house party four years ago, it was clear that they were a perfect match both musically and personally. Soon after, they produced songs together and played many concerts as a team.
